Schulz Automotive

Schulz is a fast and continuously-evolving company. From small foundry in 1963, when it starts its operations, to a highlight in the production of air compressors and auto parts industry -Schulz has been writing a non-stop history of growth. It currently operates in over 70 countries on all continents. Headquartered in Joinville, Santa Catarina, Schulz S.A. is composed of two business units: the Automotive Division, a global provider of casting products, machined components and assemblies for automotive subsystems; and the Compressor Division, a global supplier of compressed air solutions and equipment for hobby and industrial use.

Since 1980, Schulz Automotiva has been supplying auto parts for the global heavy commercial vehicle market, agricultural machinery and construction equipment segments. Its product line consists of the following: suspension brackets; axle, transmission and differential housings, engine covers and brackets, brake components, wheel hub, fifth-wheel blocks and pedestals. It also has offices in Frankfurt, Germany, and Atlanta, United States, to reinforce the international-class quality of its products and services.

  • 1963 Founded as a small foundry in Joinville/SC.
  • 1972 The Air Compressor range was launched.
  • 1980 Schulz began producing parts for the automotive sector.
  • 1993 Schulz started to offer machining services.
  • 1999 Automotive parts began to be exported.
  • 2000 The USA Branch was inaugurated in Atlanta and the beginning of the powder coating process.
  • 2004 Schulz began supplying assemblies.
  • 2005 Technical and Commercial office was opened in Gothemburg (Swenden)
  • 2008 EU Branch was moved to Frankfurt (Germany) and the beginning of E-coat painting.
