Schulz Compressores continues to evolve by manufacturing an unprecedented product for the domestic and foreign markets: the Audaz compressor (MCSV 20). This is the first direct-coupled 5 hp compressor, making it a revolutionary product with innovative features.

The new compressor’s excellent performance is directly related to the exclusive IC-Tech® technology, developed by Schulz, which allows fast, integrated connection between high-efficiency stages.

With direct-coupling transmission, Audaz doesn’t have a belt, flywheel, serpentine or pulley. An innovation that reduces energy consumption by 20%, compared to conventional models. The total savings generated by the product allows a return on investment, to the end user, in less than 30 months.

The technology has also improved the forced-air cooling system, ensuring that the compressor runs at lower temperatures, which reduces component wear and prolongs equipment life.

The new compressor’s intelligent constructive system offers other advantages. In addition to efficiency, Audaz has the lowest maintenance cost in the category. That’s because there is no need to change the belt or serpentine. The SCHULZ MS LUB lubricant oil, specific for piston air compressors, lasts up-to 300 hours between changes.

Safety is an Audaz differential. Since the transmission is by direct coupling, there are no exposed rotating parts. The air tank is produced according to Inmetro Ordinances (248 and 255, May 2014), in addition to following Regulatory Standard (NR) – 13 provisions.

Developed internally by engineers, with master’s and doctoral degrees, Audaz is Schulz Compressores’ most important launch in the past ten years. “We invested 2.5 million dollars in two years, forecasting 35% sales growth for the 5 hp segment. Audaz should achieve absolute leadership in the segment, with more than 60% market share”, states Ovandi Rosenstock, CEO of Schulz S.A.

The product is recommended for professional and industrial purposes, being used in automotive repair, tooling, woodworking, metalworking and painting shops, as well as gas stations and industries in general. The new compressor is already available in the main specialized machines and equipment resellers, as well as home centers and department stores.
